The fee is $500.00. A non-refundable $200.00 reservation fee (deposit) is required to hold your appointment time. The remaining $300.00 is due at the time of the appointment. A no show is considered after 15 minutes past the appointment time without notifying us. A one-time reschedule is permitted and the remainder of the exam fee is due if we are contacted prior to 24 hours of the exam. If the exam is cancelled or the examinee fails to arrive for the appointment at the scheduled time, the entire fee will be forfeited.
Up to four questions can be asked during the exam, however, the test is more accurate with fewer questions. The questions must be very specific and cannot have “and/or” in the wording. All of the questions must relate to a single issue i.e., infidelity. The questions must be based on a specific act that someone did or did not do. No thoughts, opinions or intentions can be covered in the questions.
Examples of acceptable questions for infidelity are:
Since you have been married to your wife/husband, have you had sexual contact with anyone other than him/her?
Did you ever have any sexual contact with (insert name here)?
Poor examples of questions are:
Do you love your wife/husband?
Did you ever make arrangements to meet someone you are attracted to?
Do you want to be with your wife/husband?
There are many studies that have shown the polygraph to be anywhere from 80% to 95% accurate. We suggest doing your own research on the accuracy.
The exam will be by appointment only and will be conducted at our office. We can travel in certain instances if an office is available for us to conduct the exam and travel costs will be added to the fee. Exams will not be performed in private residences.
Only the person undergoing the exam and the examiner may be in the room. Anyone else will need to wait in the waiting room. Allow a minimum of one and half hours to complete the process at the time of the appointment. The person undergoing the exam must agree to the exam. No threats can be made to compel anyone to undergo a polygraph examination. If at the time of the exam, the person does not wish to take the exam and/or advises threats were made toward them to undergo the exam, the exam will not be conducted and the fee will be forfeited.
In the days prior to the exam, please do not discuss the issue or argue about the issue prior to the exam. This will cause undue stress on the person undergoing the exam. All questions will be reviewed with the person undergoing the polygraph examination, there will be no surprise questions.
The results will be in a written report which will be emailed within 24 hours of the completion of the exam.
Pregnant individuals will not be tested. Examinees found to be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs including marijuana will not be tested. If anyone is found to be pregnant and/or shows any evidence of being under the influence including strong odor of marijuana and alcohol, they will not be tested and the deposit and fee will be forfeited.
Professional counseling is highly recommended. Do not make any life changing decisions based solely on the polygraph exam.
BY PAYING THE DEPOSIT OR EXAM FEE, YOU AGREE TO THE ABOVE TERMS. PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF THE EXAM WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IF THE CARD HOLDER IS PRESENT IF PAYING BY CREDIT CARD.
